Rice of liwet from solo


Material:
400 gr rice
700 ml coconut milk
2 lb bay leaves
2 pandan leaves
1 stalk lemongrass
1 / 3 teaspoon salt

How to Make:
1. Cook the rice and all ingredients in a saucepan until the milk dries up.
2. Cover the pan and the fire in kecilkan.Masak for 20 minutes.
3. Remove from heat. Leave the pot covered 30 minutes longer until rice is cooked.

Note:
Served with Sambal fried chayote, areh Chicken, Tofu / Tempe bacem, Egg Pindang. (See next recipe)
